Finn still isn't crawling, but I really don't think he ever will. He seems to have bypassed it altogether. Lately he really likes to stand holding onto furniture and he's great at taking steps when you hold his hands. He's not quite ready to walk yet, but he's working on it. The pediatrician asked if he was babbling yet, he says a lot of "ba ba ba's" and "da da da's". Otherwise, does this conversation with Dawn count?

Nine Month Check Up
Today Finn had his 9 month check up, which went particularly well since he didn't have to get any shots this time. He's almost 22 pounds now and the pediatrician commented that he's really getting too big for his current carseat, so it looks like we'll be replacing it sooner than expected. Zoey used this carseat for more than a year, no such luck for Finn. I blame it on his love of eating everything in sight. He definitely loves his food:
