First School Play

Today was Zoey's first ever school play!  Her school has an annual Thanksgiving show and each class comes out and either does a skit, sings songs, recites poems, etc.  Zoey's 2-3 year old class wore the shirts they painted in school last week, recited a Thanksgiving poem and sang 2 songs, it was so stinkin' cute!

But I think most of Zoey's enthusiasm was spent before their presentation started, giggling and laughing on stage as the teacher was trying to line them up.  Then she spotted me sitting in the front row, got all excited and wanted to run over to me, it took a good bit of redirection from her teacher to keep her in place.  So she didn't really sing along during the song, which is unusual for her.  She sort of spaced out, then of course afterwards when we were going home she was belting out the songs at the top of her lungs.  Figures.  Still cute!
