I Made This

Thanks to Pinterest, I've found all kinds of projects to make.  I am not a crafty person either, so that's saying something.

This past week, with the help of Sunita and Marty, I made a weekly dry-erase calendar.  Marty and I have such variable schedules that we need an easy and visible method of clear communication of the week's plans.  I hate how paper calendars look hanging up in plain view, so this was a perfect alternative:

Supplies needed:

Large collage photo frame
Scrapbook paper
Stick-on letters
Dry erase marker
Sticky-backed velcro

It was so simple to make.  I picked out some pretty scrapbook paper, cut to size for each frame.  Apply the letters directly on the paper.  Put paper behind the glass, as if it were a photo.  Put sticky-backed velcro on the top of the frame and on the dry-erase marker so that you can velcro the marker to the top of the frame.  Voila!  Now you can write on the glass and easily wipe it off.
