Zoey already misses school. She often asks when it's time to see her friends again and when she can see her teacher, Miss Holly. Holly is Meme's neighbor and knows our family well, so sometime this summer she asked if she can take Zoey to the Land of Little Horses for a special trip. Zoey is definitely looking forward to that. Oh, and here's the cute end-of-year gift that Zoey and I put together for Miss Holly:
We've been keeping her mind off school by taking advantage of all kinds of fun summer activities. We went to the zoo with Pop Pop one day:
We've gone to Hershey Park a few times. Most recently I took just Zoey on a "girls trip" and we spent 7 HOURS at Hershey Park. We rode everything (twice), spent time at the water park, saw the Sea Lion show, and ate way too much junk food. It was a ton of fun. Here's some photos I took on my phone:
I also celebrated my 35th birthday, which turned out to be a really great day even though I had to work. Zoey told me since it was my birthday, I could wear her favorite green hair barrette to work:
And my fantastic co-workers made the day festive by decorating my computer and my car! I really love the people I work with.
Then Marty was waiting up for me when I got home with my favorite dessert, cheesecake!
Other than the fact that Zoey is sick right now, it's been a pretty good couple of weeks!
