Happy Birthday Finn

Tomorrow Finn will be one year old, I can't believe how fast time has flown.  It seems like just yesterday he was this wee baby who didn't sleep at night and we were scrambling to figure out how on earth to juggle two kids.  Our little family has grown so much in the past year.

Yesterday was Finn's first birthday party, it didn't quite go according to plan.  Go figure, that's life with kids.  We had planned the party weeks ago, special ordered cakes from Dingeldein's, and were so excited to see Finn dive into his cake and open his presents.  Then last week Finn came down with 104 degree fever that didn't break until today.  Poor boy was completely miserable yesterday.  He slept through most of the party and when he was awake he was pretty irritable and fussy, normally he's all smiles and so laid-back.  He was completely not himself.  He didn't really eat any of his cake and he was passed out when it was time to open presents.  His fever broke today though so I'm hoping he'll be on the mend soon, we saved some cake for when he's feeling better.
