Lots of people give us clothing for the kids that are too big and we pack up and put away for later. They're either hand-me-downs or new stuff purposely bought for the next season/year. So every time the kids go up a size I pull out the box of clothes we already have in that size. Today I was getting out fall stuff for Zoey and I came across this gem:
I'm pretty sure the look on her face says it all. How on earth did I miss this ridiculous dress in the box before and where did it come from?!? It looks like an Easter dress from the 1980s. If whoever gave this to us is reading this blog, normally I would apologize for mocking your gift. I really do typically have pretty gracious manners. But instead I will say "What the crap were you thinking? Were you high??". Seriously. If you know Zoey at all, you know that although we're down with the 80s, she is NOT the fru-fru lace collar and flowers kind of girl. So of course I made her put it on so I could admire the ridiculousness in all its glory. She was NOT amused.
(I did the classic mistake of turning the camera the wrong way for the video, what can I say - I was too distracted by the dress...)
